FLAVOCARE

Beauty preserved in nature

What is it?

Flavocare is a natural ingredient, based on highly purified polyphenols derived from propolis prepared by a proprietary technology developed by B Natural and is integrally tritated in order to obtain a standardized extract rich in polyfunctional principles.

Production Process

Flavocare is produced with our licensed extraction method M.E.D.® that enables to extract all polyphenols with different solubility. We obtain the whole polyphenols complex with high purity:

  • The polyphenols are purified by this process not only from beeswax but also from inert resins. The lack of extraction of this inert resins would reduce the activity of the active principles.
  • Glycosilation of the active principles improves their solubility and bioavailability

Standardization

Flavocare is standardized with double tritation HPLC-ESI-MS in total polyphenols

Marketing Skills

  • REGISTERED TRADE MARK
  • HIGH QUALITY RAW MATERIAL
  • HIGH STANDARD PRODUCTION
  • ALLERGENS AND HEAVY METAL FREE
  • EASY TO USE IN FORMULATION
  • ALREADY AVAIABLE IN HYDROGLYCERIC, POWDER, GLYCOLIC AND OIL FORM

Characterization

The various steps of the process like extraction and purification are analytically controlled to guarantee the complete recovery of polyfunctional principles. We have worked out the characterization of polyfunctional principles by HPLC-ESI-MS in order to assure their content in every batch.
Flavocare is the first propolis extract standardized in total polyphenols in which six of them represent more than 25%.
Flavocare is watersoluble and it can be used as ingredient for cosmetic formulation such as:

  • Ointments
  • Creams
  • Toothpaste
  • Spray
  • Liquid
  • More…

Application fields:

  • Integumentary System
  • Oral Cavity
  • Intimate care
  • Natural Preservative

Scientific Studies

We have proven in vitro antibacterial activity of Purified Polyphenols from Propolis M.E.D. extract against common skin bacteria and also we have tested in vitro antinflammatory activity.
